The Royal Society offers a number of industry fellowships each year to encourage cooperation between industry and academia. It provides opportunities for an academic scientist to work on a collaborative project with industry, or someone employed in industry to work on a collaborative project with a university department or not-for-profit research organisation. It is anticipated that fellows will establish personal and corporate links between the two sectors in the UK as a foundation for their long-term future development.

Applications are welcome from all areas of life and physical sciences (excluding clinical medicine). The deadline for the current round is 24 March 2010. Please follow the link below for more information.
