Popular antidepressant 'cancels out' effect of breast cancer drug (The Daily Telegraph, 9 February 2010)

Canadian scientists have shown that taking the antidepressant paroxetine (brand name Seroxat) to relieve the side effects of the breast cancer drug Tamoxifen could result in a higher mortality when compared to those not taking paroxetine. Experts advise against any sudden decisions but recommend a review of the data to clarify the nature of the interaction.
