Aldosterone - the key to curing high blood pressure? (AlphaGalileo, 9 April 2008)

A research team based at the University of Glasgow have found that individuals with high levels of the hormone aldosterone are more likely to develop high blood pressure. Their results, presented at the Society for Endocrinology BES 2008 conference in Harrogate, show factors such as genetics influence aldosterone levels.
